Bible Verses
Listed below is what is known as the Roman's Road, a group of verses from the book of Romans outlining the path to salvation. Get familiar with them, maybe even memorize them. Having verses like these on hand always proves to be very helpful. The power of the message is in God's Word, not our own.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 5:8 "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"
Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!"
Romans 10:9,10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
And then here's some other verses that speak of God's free gift of salvation and how to receive it.
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not of yourselves, it is a gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.
Acts 16:31 "...Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved."
1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all ..."
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only son so that whoever believes in Him should not die but have eternal life."
John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'"
Galatians 2:16 "... knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ ... for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified."
